Project Management

Over the past decade, Promotions West has been providing effective project management expertise for its clients. A true leader is a great manager and we strive to bring success to all projects and campaigns.  Our project management Life Cycle highlights 8 approaches:

Initiating: Project feasibility and Kick-off

Planning: Task List, Gantt Charts and Work Breakdown Structure

Controlling & Executing: Reviewing Task list and deliverable

Monitoring every step of the way to make sure the project is on target and the necessary adjustments are made to the overall work plan or scope of work. Also includes monitoring the budget

Closing out documents, customer satisfaction assessments, payments and celebrating the end of your project and acknowledging that everything has been delivered as agreed.

Planning for Risks: We strongly believe that every wise project manager looks ahead to plan for potential risks or challenges. Years of experience has prepared us to meet those challenges.

Communications is key to every project. It's important that stakeholders, navigators and partners are kept abreast.

Managing a Team:

Helps to guarantee the success of any project.

As part of our community work with Results Based Accountability, RBA is a way of thinking and taking action that communities can use to improve the community. We use performance measures:

  • How much do we do?
  • How do we do it?
  • How well do we do it?
  • Can we make a difference?
  • What will it look like?
  • How will we measure our success/deliverables?

Promotions West is a believer in Lean Thinking vs Muda. Muda is the one word of Japanese you must know. Muda means waste, any human activity which absorbs resources but creates no value at all. Our project management consultants help organizations to nip wastes in the bud in order to be more valuable. A great example of muda is looking at domestic airlines.  Aircraft producers make little money because airlines can't afford the new planes, most airlines have flown for a decade-long holding pattern in the vicinity of bankruptcy. There are ways to get rid of the muda and implement focus on the value.
