The energetic team of Promotions West consist of a variety of creative individuals with experiences in the areas of  marketing, advertising, celebrity outreach, brand development, account management, social media, strategic planning & counselling, program development, copywriting, project management and media relations.

Mikael Wagner
Principal and Communications Director

Wagner brings over 20 years of social marketing, public relations, project management, strategic planning, community engagement and campaign management expertise to the table. Wagner served a Media Policy Analyst with the Office of National Drug Control Policy under the Obama Administration In Washington, DC. He managed Above the Influence, a national youth anti-drug media campaign. He also worked in the Broadcast Media industry for over 10 years in a variety of roles that include public affairs director, news writer, newscaster, talk show host, editorial director, and promotions & advertising director. Wagner also has over 8 years in public health promotions. After receiving degrees in Education, he taught elementary, middle and high school in the San Francisco Bay area. Noticed by others in education, he was recruited to teach public relations and marketing at San Francisco State University and at City College of San Francisco for several years.

Jon Rendell
Art Director

Jon spent 11 years as art director of a non-profit school reform organization in the San Francisco Bay Area before joining Promotions West. He has 40 years of computer design experience. Jon is also an acclaimed fine art photographer. He holds a diploma in art and design from Swinburne University of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in education from Melbourne University, Australia. He has successfully completed several art exhibits, including Iconic Paris in Australia with

Sofitel Hotels and at Stanford University

Kaci Ellis
Strategic Marketing Director

Kaci is a UC Berkeley alumna and has 15+ years marketing and community relations experience. She has worked for two high visibility advertising agencies, H&L Partners and Euro RSCG Life (Havas Life) in San Francisco, CA. Kaci excels at developing community relations campaigns for major brands such as McDonalds, the American Red Cross, United Healthcare, and AARP. She also specializes in managing public health marketing campaigns with National community partners that include schools, faith-based organizations, government officials, health departments and other entities in the private and non-profit sectors. Kaci loves to volunteer in her spare time and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
